MEET

ERIC WHITLOCK

Eric has over twelve years of experience in real estate and takes great care to get to know his clients, learn their needs and motivations, before carefully crafting a plan and setting expectations that lead his clients to success. 

Shortly before graduating with his MS Degree from RIT, he started his real estate career in 2010 with HUNT Real Estate. After completing his graduate degree in 2011, he joined HUNT Commercial Real Estate, to also become a commercial agent.

During his first 10 years, Eric's sales and leasing experience included several distinctive properties such as; Gatherings Catering at The Senators Mansion, Esperanza Mansion, a historic mansion in Wyoming County, North Shore Grill, a limousine business and a large lease at Kodak Tower Commons.  In addition; retail opportunities such as Park Point at RIT and other similar properties, some well known restaurants, office complexes, industrial properties, golf courses and two resorts downstate.

Much of his exclusive client base has been with families to buy or sell a home, also some friends, family, high net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, also business people, local television and radio personalities and those in education.

When he isn't busy with his client's listing and sales needs, he has been building his professional presence and pushing the envelope on marketing and client care.

In 2015 he became an Associate Broker with both HUNT companies.  Eric is known to be detail-oriented, approachable, adaptable, and adept at navigating the complexities that come with working with a lot of different personalities.

As a proven performer, Eric is known to go above and beyond for his clients and his creative marketing strategies. He also provides them with all the tools unique to HUNT as well as other contemporary marketing services. Eric also puts an emphasis on staying on top of the local and national real estate trends. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

    Eric enjoys playing basketball, working out, golf, travel, architecture, movies, vintage cars and attending sports events. Eric is also a history buff; in addition, he enjoys working on home repairs or improvement projects, spending time with family and his close friends. He enjoys the Finger Lakes and occasional visits to Cape Cod, MA., it's one of those special places.

      Million Dollar 
      ​​​​​​​Mastermind & Training:

      In 2014, Eric had a rare and unique opportunity that changed his life and career with the opportunity to meet and receive luxury real estate training with celebrity Realtors who star on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing. These took place in New York, Miami, & Beverly Hills.

      • Eric participated in an 8 week webinar with Fredrik Eklund to learn how he came from Sweden and became the top agent team with his business partner John Gomes in New York, seven years later, The Eklund Gomes Team leads their top team in multiple markets nationwide. 
      • In Miami a few weeks later in February, Eric flew down and participated in a fund-raiser, hosted by David Adam Kurz, that included a red carpet mixer featuring stars Josh Flagg, The Altman Brothers, Josh Altman and Matt Altman.
      • With Josh Flagg, Star of Million Dollar Listing, Los Angeles.

      Additionally, a few weeks later; at the end of the webinars, Eric traveled to New York in February to meet The Eklund Gomes Team. Eric participated in real estate group discussions, and tour luxury condo listings in Manhattan, Soho and Tribeca, followed by networking dinners with colleagues.

      • In April of the same year, visiting Los Angeles, Eric attended the annual ERA International Business Conference. Eric reconnected with Josh Altman (keynote speaker of ERA IBC 2014), Matt Altman and Heather Altman at a Beverly Hills hotel for an afternoon speaking engagement. 
      • Eric toured their luxury listings in the Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills and Bel Air ​​​​​​​(​​​​​​​the platinum triangle of real estate), followed by a networking dinner.
      • With The Altman Brothers and Heather Altman, in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills, Stars of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
      • Eric's training helped him further his luxury education.
      • Eric has a higher level ability to provide his clients with their unique real estate needs.
      • Additionally in 2020, Eric also received further training with The Altman Brothers and their Power Course.
      • Since 2014 Eric has also gained a national network of Realtors for referrals from additional networking nationwide.
